1. Begin with the skin
The focus of this look is on radiant, natural skin. So what is the simplest way to obtain naturally glowing skin? While not everyone has Amal Clooney's or Jennifer Aniston's wonderful youthful radiance, we know how to fake it! So before you embark on this no-makeup-makeup quest, do some skin prep. Using a moisturising face mask before applying makeup ensures that the skin is soft and hydrated.
2. A primer is the easiest way to get a smooth base
A primer is the simplest technique to achieve a smooth base when striving for a minimal look. You can tailor your product selection to the appearance you want to achieve or your skin type. A pore filler primer will smooth and fill any pores without blocking them as a heavy foundation would. An illuminating primer will give you that "lit from within" radiance while making you look more moisturised.
Our Hydrating Face & Body Lotion is constantly being recommended as the perfect primer. This is because of how smooth and soft it leaves the skin. You can learn more about it by clicking here.
3. Take it easy with the coverage
For this look, avoid using heavy, full-coverage foundations. Instead, tinted moisturisers, BB and CC creams hydrate your skin while allowing some of your freckles, redness, and flaws to show through. Use a buffing foundation brush to apply extra coverage or a sponge to preserve the dewiness.
4. For imperfections, use a little concealer
Use a lightweight, moisturising concealer if you're still not used to leaving your imperfections or dark circles alone. Blend using your fingertips — the heat from your skin causes the product to melt right in!
5. Cream all the way
Creams let everything mingle and settle in, and they appear more natural than powders. Blend a cream bronzer with a moist sponge after applying foundation and concealer. If you're concerned about things staying all day, set softly with a powder bronzer, or seal in all the glowy deliciousness with a setting spray.
Our Natural Rose Water & Aloe Vera Facial Mist is a perfect setting spray and is handmade with natural ingredients plus it smells absolutely divine. You can learn more about it by clicking here.
6. Dew is your best friend
Adding a slight dewiness to the tops of your cheekbones will help your face look natural but yet glowy. Instead of a standard sparkly highlighter, try a cream with a clear base. The product's texture will also blend in with the rest of the cream products on the face.
7. Pretend to flush
There's something so lovely and unpolished about a natural, flushed tint to the skin. Apply a dab of cream blush on the apples of the cheeks, temples, and nose bridge. That's how you do it!
