1. Don't Try to Appear "Younger."
As women over 50, we must embrace our strength and abandon the old-fashioned assumption that all women should continuously strive to appear "younger." Instead, let us celebrate the beauty, character, and honesty that are imprinted on our faces.
We are who we are. And, regardless of age, should be proud! Several practical things can be done with that attitude firmly in place!
2. Sunscreen is essential for protecting your skin from the sun.
One of the primary causes of wrinkled, spotty skin is sun damage. Therefore, limit your sun exposure, wear hats, and apply sunscreen.
A lot of UV damage doesn't become evident until later in life - but it's never "too late" to improve your skin's health by limiting your sun exposure. Using sunscreen and limiting prolonged exposure to sunlight can help lower your risk of skin cancer.
Don't let yourself be fooled into believing that it is already too late for sunscreen. In your 50s? You still have thousands of wonderful memories to create and should do so whilst feeling wonderful about yourself.
3. Before going to bed, wash your face.
Dry skin is one of the most prevalent problems for women over 50 because our skin becomes drier as we age and lose oil glands.
Washing your face every night before bed is one of the most excellent methods to prevent dry skin - but don't use a harsh soap that will remove the natural oils from your skin which are essential for keeping your skin healthy.
Try our Nourishing & Cleansing Oil that can remove makeup and dirt without stripping the skin of essential nutrients but instead feeding it it Omega 3,6 & 9 fatty acids as well as much more nutrients which are vital for healthy skin.

4. Quit Smoking
Healthy skin is one of the many health benefits of quitting smoking, in addition to the many others. Unfortunately, if you smoke, you will most likely have more wrinkles than persons your age who do not smoke. So try to come to a halt. You have many options to help you kick the habit of smoking.
5. Don't soak in the tub for too long.
A hot bath can be a terrific way to unwind, but if you soak for too long, you may end up drying up your skin. If you enjoy a long and leisurely bath, use a beautiful bath oil or lather up somebody moisturiser as you get out of the tub while your skin is still damp.
6. Make Use of Natural Skincare Products
Many skin care products use a lot of highly processed chemicals and components. Natural skin care products, including herbs, coconut oil or olive oil, can often produce more significant results. The same products that can help you reach healthier skin can also help you obtain healthier skin in the kitchen. Check out our latest skincare packages all handmade using natural ingredients here.
7. Give Your Skin the Nutrients It Requires
Our skin has particular nutritional requirements. So aside from the standard advice of eating a well-balanced diet rich in vegetables, a few specific foods can help you obtain naturally beautiful skin.
Dark chocolate (at least 70% cacao), coconut oil, and red bell peppers are my favourites.
Rather than seeking to appear younger, women in their 50s and beyond can be happier and healthier by accepting who they are and leading the satisfying and empowering life they are meant to live.
